Saturday is a chess roguelike played entirely on your own device. This page states plainly what that means for your data — which, as the ledger below shows, is that there isn't any.
What Saturday collects
The version of Saturday distributed on Play does not request Android's INTERNET permission at all — it is explicitly removed from the release build's manifest. An app with no network permission cannot open a connection to anywhere, which is a stronger guarantee than a policy promising not to: there is no code path in the shipped game that could send anything, to us or to anyone else, even if a future version wanted to by mistake.
There are no analytics libraries, no crash reporters, no advertising SDKs and no third-party code of any kind bundled into the app. Nothing is measured about how you play.
Your run in progress, your unlocked pieces, your settings and your run history are saved locally, using your device's own storage, so the game remembers where you left off. None of it ever leaves the device — there is nowhere for it to go. Uninstalling Saturday, or clearing the app's storage from your device settings, removes it completely.
Saturday is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age — for the same reason it collects nothing from adults: there is no mechanism in the app that collects anything at all.
Should a future version of Saturday add a feature that needs a network connection — cloud saves, for instance — that version would ship with the relevant permission restored, and this page would be rewritten first, in detail, before that version reached anyone. The date below will always say when it was last true.
